Terms and Conditions2011/2012 Passport to Play Contest Rules and RegulationsThis Passport to Play Contest is being held by The Regional Municipality of Waterloo (the "Region"). Rules and RegulationsFull participation with the Contest requirement is required. Only one passport entry per person. All entries become the property of the Region and will not be returned. To enter, obtain a passport at one of the participating museums or attractions listed below or download a passport at PassportToPlay.ca
Visit any four participating museums or attractions listed above and during your visit, get your passport stamped. Once you've collected four (4) stamps, hand in your passport at any of the participating locations to be entered in a draw to win great prizes! Passports are only stamped with paid admission. Note you can show your passport to gain a discount where applicable on the cost of your admission. Entries must be dropped off at any participating museum or mailed to 10 Huron Road, Kitchener, ON, Canada, N2P 2R7 Passport To Play Contest closes June 1, 2012 ("the Contest Closing Date"). The Region reserves the right to cancel the Contest at any time without notice. To be eligible, entries must be received on or before 11:59 a.m. (E.T.) June 1, 2012. Chances of winning are dependent upon the total of eligible entries received. The Region is unaware of how many entries there may be. The Waterloo Region Museum administrators, employees and their immediate families are not eligible for Prizes in the Contest. A random draw for the all prizes will be conducted by one or more representatives of the Waterloo Region Museum, 10 Huron Rd. Kitchener, ON N2P 2R7 on June 1, 2012. Once selected, prize winners will not remain eligible to win additional prizes. The selected entrants will be notified by an e-mail at the e-mail address indicated within (7) days of the draw. If the entrant cannot be contacted within seven (7) days of the draw, an alternate entrant will be selected from the remaining entries. Winners must pick up their prize from the Waterloo Region Museum at 10 Huron Road in the City of Kitchener during regular business hours. Winners that are under the age of eighteen must have their prize picked up by a parent or legal guardian. Where necessary for the purposes of prize redemption, the parent or legal guardian of a prize winner under the age of eighteen shall be deemed to have been awarded the prize on behalf of an underage prize winner for whom the parent or legal guardian is responsible. Residents residing outside of the Region of Waterloo may elect to have their prize mailed to their address however will be responsible for any costs associated with mailing or delivery. The Region takes no responsibility for lost, misdirected, late, incomplete, illegible or destroyed entries or for failure of the website during the Contest period, for any problems or technical malfunction or any telephone network lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, mail delays, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an applicant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from using or downloading any material in this Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any Web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the Region reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-refundable, non-transferable, may not be exchanged or substituted, must be taken in its entirety and is non-redeemable for any cash value. This Contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws. Each entrant agrees to abide by all contest rules and will be deemed to have reviewed and understood the rules if they participate in this Contest. If there is any doubt as to the eligibility of an entrant or the manner in which an entrant wins a Prize, the Region shall decide the issue and his or her decision shall be final. Entrants using any scheme, information or method to win a Prize which, in the sole opinion of the Region, is other than a fair chance, will be disqualified and lose the right to claim a Prize to which they otherwise would have been entitled. Each Winner must sign a waiver and release consenting to the use of his/her/their entry, name, city of residence and or photograph in any publicity carried out by the Region without further compensation as a condition in advance of receiving a prize. The Region is not responsible for printing, distribution, or production errors and may terminate or withdraw this Contest at any time without prior notice. |
